When Cedric, crowned prince of Caelum, and his royal friends find themselves stranded in modern-day Los Angeles, via a magic portal and the evil traitor Malquin, all they want to do is get home to Caelum as soon as possible. As they explore possibilities, they meet Liv, a filmmaker foster girl who just wants to get out of the foster system and on with her life.
