Longtime resident Dale Thomas is a director and the archivist for the Olmstead Historical Society and serves on the North Olmsted Landmarks Commission. After receiving degrees from both Kent State University and Case Western Reserve University, Thomas taught social studies for 31 years in Bay Village, before retiring in 1999. Thomas has been a consultant for the Western Reserve Historical Society and is a former historian of the Cleveland Civil War Roundtable. (less)
