Prepared in cooperation with the Brecksville Historical Association, Brecksville offers a rare and fascinating look into a city that grew at a tremendous pace from a rural, forested farming town into one of the most desirable residential cities in the greater Cleveland area. The photographs of Brecksville's people, businesses, and festivals from many different eras stand alongside vintage views of the city's historic commercial buildings and century homes. Also featured in the book are scenes of the canal and the railroad in the valley, showing the early history of what is now part of the popular Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area. (less)
